APOLLO 13, 54 YEARS LATER

Apollo 13 Astronaut Fred Haise and Apollo 13 Gold Team Flight Director Gerry Griffin visited Tulsa Air & Space Museum on the 54th of what Fred calls “Boom Day”; the day Apollo 13 became a “successful failure”.

It’s not every day one gets the opportunity to connect first hand with individuals connected to a story heard many times over as a kid. Taking the opportunity to photograph living legends is not one taken lightly.
