Digitization Grant Bonus

Make your application stronger—and your project more achievable.

Applying for grants can feel daunting, especially if you don’t have a dedicated grant writer. Funders want to see that applicants have a strong plan of action, realistic pricing, and confidence in how the project will be carried out. That’s where we can help.

OMA members applying for digitization grants can receive:

  • A free consultation to help clarify technical details and project scope. We break down what can feel overwhelming into simple, actionable steps.

  • A tailored support letter for your grant application that provides funders with a clear project plan, timeline details, customized pricing for your specific project, and a summary of our qualifications as your digitization partner.

  • (OMA Member Exclusive Offer) Narrative Structure is happy to add a 5% bonus in additional project credit to OMA members who receive funding from Oklahoma organizations, such as the Oklahoma Historical Society, and work with us for digitization.

Ongoing offer.

On-Site Headshot Special

High-quality portraits that reflect the professionalism of your organization.

Your headshot is more than a picture—it’s often the first impression people have of you and your museum. A high-quality portrait tells a story of confidence, professionalism, and approachability. That’s why our headshot process is designed to set you at ease and bring out your best.

Our signature expression coaching helps every subject—yes, even those who swear they “hate being photographed”—look natural, approachable, and confident. Paired with our technical expertise in lighting, posing, and post-production, the result is the kind of feedback we hear again and again: “That’s the best photo of me I’ve ever seen.”

Every session includes:

  • Best Practices Guide (PDF) to help your team prepare and look and feel their best.
  • Expression coaching means we visit with you first to better understand your role and what first impression you want to make with your photo, then coach you to an authentic expression. (We reserve “cheese!” for pizza.) Our goal is for everyone to have fun and leave feeling confident.
  • Review all images as we go and select your final photo during the shoot. There’s not a limit to the photos
  • Photos are fully retouched for fly-away hairs, blemishes, or other edits based on your preferences. You’ll never look plastic — just you on a really great day!
  • High resolution & usable sizes: You’ll receive three copies of each photo (full resolution, half resolution, and social media), ready for print, website, or any other application.
  • (If needed) An online gallery can be provided to review photos for additional selection or confirmation.

With this OMA member offer, we bring our studio to you:

  • Waived on-site session fee ($490/day value) when you book 4 or more headshots.
  • Customizable style: Choose neutral backgrounds, environmental settings, or tailored options to match your branding.
  • Optional collaboration: Share a single shoot day with nearby museums or organizations to spread the savings.
  • Volume discount: If 20+ headshots are purchased in a single day, the per-image price drops by 10% (from $195 to $175.50 each), with all participants benefitting from the savings.

Terms

  • Minimum of 4 individuals required. Standard per-image rate applies to final photos selected for edit and purchase.
  • Session fee waiver valid only for OMA member organizations in Oklahoma.
  • Book by November 30, 2025; Sessions must be completed by March 31, 2026.

Year-end Spending

Don’t lose your budget—put it to work preserving stories.

Every organization knows the challenge: your fiscal year is closing, and you still have funds left in your budget. If you don’t use them, you lose them. The Year-End Funding program allows you to put every dollar to work by paying ahead for a project that can begin within the next three months.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Request an invoice for the amount you need to allocate before your fiscal year closes (typically in June or December).

  2. Pay the invoice by your year-end deadline.

  3. Apply the funds to any Narrative Structure service within three months: digitization, photography, headshots, or storytelling projects.

This not only prevents waste but also gives your museum a strategic advantage—ensuring the next big preservation or photography project is already set in motion at the start of the new fiscal year.

Terms

  • Open to all OMA member organizations. Funds must be invoiced and paid by your fiscal year-end deadline, typically in June or December.

  • Paid funds must be fully applied to a project within three months. Credit does not carry forward and refunds are not available. If scheduling issues arise, contact us to maximize your timeline.
